He knew obtaining the shares would be vastly different from receiving dividends controlled by Alexander. With 30% ownership, he would become a major shareholder. He understood that Heather owned 70%, a few others held 15%, and the remainder belonged to retail shareholders. The Riggs family was small.
Her offer was tempting.

If Ralph didn’t know of its existence, Hugo Russell must have given it directly to Alexander, who keeps it outside the Estate. If so, finding it would be nearly impossible.
But Ralph Russell is different. He’s family, Alexander’s uncle. It would be easier for him to find it, and nobody would suspect him at La Beaute Group or other Russell properties.
“Alexander rarely goes home. He has another house,” Ralph said. “After marrying that Lodge girl, he mostly stays with her. Do you think it’s possible that…”
