Chapter 153

Mandy and Seline sprang to their feet. At the entrance stood Suzanne, casually dressed. Her sudden appearance caused the Yates family members to jump up. Henry’s expression darkened instantly. He glared at Suzanne, his voice dripping with menace. “You dare to come back?”

He hadn’t even made a move to deal with her, yet she had delivered herself right to his doorstep. Seline and Mandy exchanged startled looks. What was that wretched woman planning now? Seeing her here could only mean trouble.

Suzanne let out a cold chuckle. “Why wouldn’t I? The real question is, how do you still have the nerve to sit here and enjoy breakfast?”

She stepped inside without hesitation. Before Henry could react, he noticed a group of burly men with iron rods trailing behind her, exuding an air of menace. Henry’s face paled instantly, and he gritted his teeth as he bellowed, “What do you think you’re doing?”

Seline shrank back behind Mandy, instinctively seeking protection. Mandy also took two cautious steps backward. Suzanne’s expression turned icy. She fixed her gaze on the three of them and commanded coldly, “Smash everything!”

The men dispersed, moving toward every corner of the house. “You! You wouldn’t dare!” Henry roared, his face contorting in fury. But his enraged roar was met with a loud ruckus. In an instant, several massive floor-to-ceiling windows shattered all at once.

Seline screamed in terror while Henry trembled with rage, his fists clenched. “Suzanne, stop this at once!” The dining table rattled violently under his furious pounding. But Suzanne paid him no mind. Instead, she sauntered over to a high stool and perched herself leisurely, watching the chaos unfold with amusement. “Don’t you all love playing games? Then let’s make it interesting.”

Mandy’s and Seline’s hearts pounded wildly. Seline furrowed her brows and took a tentative step forward, trying to reason with her. “Sue, let’s talk this out. Smashing our own family’s belongings isn’t right.” Suzanne’s gaze locked on Seline, a smirk tugging at her lips. “Is that so?”

She casually picked up a delicate vase from a nearby shelf and hurled it onto the floor. The vase shattered into countless fragments, scattering across the floor right in front of Seline. Seline shrieked, stumbling back and covering her face in fear.

Mandy immediately stepped forward to shield Seline and glared at Suzanne. “Suzanne, how could you? She’s your sister!”

Suzanne chuckled at the absurdity. “My mother only gave birth to me. Since when did I have a sister? Does she even deserve the title?” Tilting her chin upward, she turned to her men and commanded, “Don’t leave a single thing intact! Smash it all!”

If chaos was inevitable, then she might as well embrace it. Wherever they passed, destruction followed. Henry trembled uncontrollably with rage. “Suzanne, don’t get too arrogant!” He grabbed a plate from the table and hurled it at her. “You ungrateful wretch! I’ll kill you!”

Suzanne swiftly sidestepped, letting the plate smash into the wall behind her. Her eyes gleamed with icy resolve as she took a step forward. “Looks like you enjoy breaking things. Good.”

At that moment, Suzanne exuded an overwhelming presence, radiating a force so powerful it felt as if she could tear the world apart. With each step, Henry felt his confidence crumble. Henry swallowed nervously as he looked at Suzanne with a flicker of fear in his eyes. “You… You’d better not do anything reckless. Someone! Somebody, get in here!”
