Jaden could not continue. He used to like Josie! He clearly liked her before. Why did he later come to wish her dead, to hurl abuse at her?
He didn’t believe her and thought she was vicious and hateful, wanting to use the most despicable and loathsome words in the world on her!
Yvonne understood everything the moment she saw the expression on Jaden’s face.
As expected, all of this was connected to Natalie.
Thinking carefully, David’s team was full of men. Before, there was only Josie. Natalie’s appearance broke this balance.
Yvonne understood this situation very well. Who wouldn’t want a bunch of seniors and their mentor revolving around them? It was no surprise that Natalie would target Josie.

Yvonne smiled coldly, pushed back her chair, and stood up. “Jaden, I truly feel sorry for all of you. To think you could be played for fools by a woman!”
“Are you saying… Natalie has been lying to us, and she has been targeting Josie all along?” Jaden’s eyes were bloodshot, as if he could not believe that any of this was true.
Yvonne couldn’t be bothered to waste words on this fool and turned around to leave without another word.
Unaware of these events, Josie returned to her dormitory. After taking a short rest and tidying up briefly, she picked up the schedule that Jannik had given her and prepared to look for Delilah.
Just as she neared the teaching building, she saw a crowd of students gathered together, with the sound of an argument coming from the center.
Josie wasn’t one for watching spectacles and was about to detour around when someone shouted, “Josie! Look, everyone, Josie is here!”
Then someone squeezed out of the crowd and rushed up to her. It was Jaden.
Jaden’s face was flushed red. Seeing Josie, he reached out his hands towards her, looking like he wanted to grab her.
“What are you doing?” Josie instinctively dodged. “Stay away from me! Come any closer and I won’t show mercy!”
She looked defensive and furious, her puffed–out cheeks looking utterly adorable.
Jaden immediately laughed, taking a step back. “Okay, okay, I won’t come closer. Josie, don’t be afraid. I won’t hurt you, really. I just wanted to say sorry to you.”
‘What scheme is he plotting this time?’ Josie looked at him suspiciously. “What do you mean?”
“I mean, I’m apologizing!” Jaden said with utmost sincerity.
The onlookers crowded around again, pushing another person in front of them.
Natalie looked at Josie panickedly. “Josie, please explain to Jaden! I never said anything bad about you, and I never hurt you. I don’t know where he heard some nasty things, but he insists I stirred up trouble between you. He came up and started yelling at me, even said… said I’m a jinx…”
Natalie was truly crying, tears streaming down her face.
She looked delicate and pitiable. This wronged expression made her even more evoking pity.
The onlookers started criticizing.
“This is too much! How can he be so fierce to a young girl? If there weren’t so many people here, would he have hit her?”
“Exactly! What unforgivable thing did she do to deserve such mistreatment?”
“Could it be that someone actually said something to stir up trouble and cause her to be scolded? In my opinion, Josie is the one who is truly sowing discord.”
“Josie left the team ages ago. Why is she still causing trouble, making their team discordant? How excessive!”
“So petty. She says she chose to leave, but behind the scenes, she’s unwilling, actually doing something as despicable as sowing discord among team members!”
Josie looked speechless. What had she done to deserve this? She was just passing by, yet for no reason, she was made a scapegoat and forced to take the blame.
Natalie, from her previous life to this one, used the same trick, effective every time.
