Joseph felt that anyone would appreciate a young woman who was well-behaved, motivated, intelligent, capable, kind, and grateful.

He believed that Ian was unlikely to succeed in pursuing Josie.

Kenneth pointed to the text message on her mobile phone and explained it to Xander, “This is about the general outline I mentioned earlier.

“I didn’t expect that, in just a few days, they would have already validated the experimental method. David is indeed capable.”

Xander tapped his fingers on the tabletop and said, “If I remember correctly, even the fastest approval process takes at least three months.

“Go and give them a hand. Make sure they get the patent done within one month.

“It is merely a research technique. As long as Jeremy’s team is not completely incompetent, they could likely figure it out within three months.

“We must not give them any opportunity to put it into practice.”

A look of joy appeared on Kenneth’s face.

He said, “Sir, you are correct. I have heard that the two projects are inherently somewhat similar.

“Regardless of which team achieves results, it is a fatal blow to the other team.

“In the less serious case, all of their efforts will be wasted. In more severe cases, even the project may be canceled.”

Xander smiled and said, “Your thinking is overly simplistic. Do not forget that they still have Delilah on their side.

“As long as this research is linked to traditional medicine, it will not be so easy to halt. Unless…”

Although he did not finish his sentence, Kenneth already understood it.

The project would not be canceled unless a substantial amount of resources were invested and no results were achieved over a long period of time.

He thought, ‘But is this possible?

After staying up all night, Jeremy could no longer continue. He said, “There is still some content left.

“Sean, please help them wrap things up. I can’t hold on any longer and need to get some sleep.

He said, “Both papers have no issues and can be published.”

Joseph stood up and said, “Then I’ll go back to school first. It’s been a long night. Thank you, Sean!”

“Yes.” Sean stood up. “Let me walk you out.”

Josie sprang to her feet. “I’ll see him off. You stay seated, Sean!”

She walked out of the Reedshaw family with Joseph.

Joseph turned his head and glanced at the Reedshaw family.

He said, “Josie, thank you so much. Ever since you started drafting our competition proposals, it feels like our luck has turned for the better.

“Now, we’ve even had the chance to meet the Reedshaw family…”

“Go back and thank Adeline. I helped you because she treated me well.” Josie yawned. “Treat Adeline well!”

Joseph didn’t make a fuss, waved his hand, and left.
