Upon hearing this, Ian’s expression finally improved.

He quickly picked up his bag and hurried out of the office. The group had not gone far before they saw Josie and the others, who had stopped ahead.

Josie turned around and made a shushing gesture.

Several people paused in surprise, then heard faint, suggestive sounds coming from the adjacent office, interspersed with low voices.

“Aiden, please don’t be angry!” Even though the voice was a bit distorted, Josie still recognized it as Natalie.

She continued, “I know this is my fault. It was my impulsiveness that caused you embarrassment.

“I am sorry. You may punish me however you wish. I belong to you…”

After those words were spoken, there came even more violent impacts. The sound of someone being pushed onto a table, along with some indescribable sounds that would make one blush, kept echoing.

Josie was listening with great interest when she was pulled away by Sean, whose expression was stern.

He had just heard a strange noise and, fearing that a thief had entered the research institute, pulled Josie to a stop.

Unexpectedly, instead of encountering a thief, they came upon Aiden and Natalie doing shady business.

Sean felt that it was truly inappropriate for Josie to hear such sounds.

Her innocence should not be exposed to this. Sean took large strides and, in just a few steps, pulled her into the elevator.

She had originally wanted to hear what other shocking remarks Natalie might make in front of Aiden, but now, it seemed she wouldn’t get the chance.

It was not until the elevator doors closed that Ian and the others reacted.

They quickly left this place, knowing that eavesdropping was not the conduct of a gentleman, especially when it involved Aiden and Natalie.

None of them were talkative. They just looked at each other.

“I never would have guessed that Aiden could act so wild,” Joseph couldn’t help but remark.

Given Aiden’s usual gentle and courteous demeanor, he really didn’t seem like someone who would behave so recklessly in the office.

Adeline Nicholson pursed her lips and said, “I also never expected that Natalie, who usually seems so proud, would act so humble in front of Aiden!”

They clicked their tongues softly, each looking as if their worldview had just been shattered.

It was not something worth making a fuss about, so once they entered the elevator, it was not mentioned again.

After they entered the elevator, Kyle emerged from the stairwell.

He had consistently been the last intern to leave the research institute. Today was no exception. He did not begin packing up to leave until after ten o’clock.

Upon reaching the corridor entrance and seeing Sean and his group coming out, he didn’t want to run into Josie, so he simply hid by the stairwell.

However, he never expected to catch this drama.

If not for Josie and a few others, he would not have noticed anything unusual in the office.

Kyle walked a few steps to the door of their project team’s office.

The two individuals entangled inside had long since lost themselves. Suggestive sounds escaped through the gap in the door, making Kyle feel sick.

Kyle’s face was livid, his fists clenched so tightly that the veins stood out.

Just a few days ago, Natalie was still lying in his bed, but now she had gotten together with Aiden.

Unable to endure such humiliation any longer, he struck the door with his fist.

Upon hearing the sounds of people inside hurriedly getting up in a panic, he smirked triumphantly and strode away.

Natalie remained relatively composed inside the room. The more anxious individual was Aiden.

“What are you doing? Hurry up and get dressed!” Aiden was about to lose his mind.

He felt that he must have gone crazy to have actually fooled around with Natalie in the office.

If the people at the research institute found out about this, he would be too ashamed to remain there.

He felt that it was all Natalie’s fault. She was just too good at seducing him. He was left dazed and couldn’t control himself at all.

Natalie was slightly out of breath, still not fully satisfied.

She had previously angered Aiden and only managed to calm him down after considerable effort.

She had wanted to share an intimate moment with him, but she didn’t expect that, even at such a late hour, someone was still around.

She thought, ‘This person is so annoying.’

She dragged her feet as she got dressed and said, “We’re a real couple. What are you afraid of? It’s not like we have to hide from people.”
