“Josie!” Natalie gasped. She never expected to run into Josie at that moment.

She quickly lowered her head and inspected her clothes. ‘Fortunately, it’s winter, and I’m wearing several layers. She can’t see anything,’ she thought.

She then turned her head again to look at Kyle beside her. Kyle looked embarrassed, his expression somewhat awkward.

“What’s the matter? Did running into Josie while you were with me make you feel ashamed?” Natalie kicked Kyle, turned around, and then walked to the roadside to hail a taxi.

Kyle nodded to Josie, then turned around and quickly followed Natalie. The two tugged at each other a couple of times, but in the end, they still got into the same car.

“Let’s go!” Josie expressionlessly withdrew her gaze and turned around to get into the car.

Sean leaned over to fasten her seatbelt and asked, “Would you like to listen to a song?”

“Okay,” Josie said, smiling, and turned to look out the car window.

Aloville was a leading city in the country. Without exception, every recent graduate in Aloville wanted to stay in the city to develop their career.

In her previous life, Kyle successfully graduated with a master’s degree, and through David’s connections, he entered the Central Research Institute. To gain a foothold, he went to great lengths, even going so far as to sell his own body.

Back then, Josie had often run into him when he left Audrey’s office. She usually stayed late to supervise experiments and would frequently hear flirtatious sounds from the office after he went in.

“You know so much?” Sean was somewhat surprised. He raised his hand and placed his palm on her head. “Tell me, what else do you know? Is there an even greater surprise waiting for me?”

Josie smiled and said, “You can ask Colby’s aunt for help with this matter. At the medical conference the year before last, I saw her communicating with representatives from foreign medical equipment companies.”

The Clem family was surely familiar with equipment pricing. Although she had the suppliers’ contact information, she lacked experience in purchases and sales. Having an intermediary would ease bargaining over prices.

‘Any savings for the Reedshaw family, no matter how small, are worthwhile,’ she thought.
