Natalie reached out and pulled Kyle back. “Our teacher can’t make decisions. You may not know, but the judging panel for this school competition has already excluded him. Delilah wanted to protect Josie, believing that the teachers at the conference would treat her unfairly. She already knew that his paper was not as good as hers, so she deliberately embarrassed him in public. Was she just trying to get back at me?
