Chapter 582

Lottie and Richard went straight to the study. Stephanie helped Sofia get dressed, while Sofia grumbled, “That shameless Richard! Why does he have so much time on his hands? He actually recorded it? Who would think to record in that situation?”

Stephanie said, “But Richard did record it.”

Sofia seethed, “That jerk.”

Stephanie said, “You said it yourself, he’s shameless. Who knows what he wants with that recording?”

Sofia’s face darkened again. She questioned Richard’s goal.

Stephanie asked, “Trying to scam Sebastian again?”

As soon as Sofia heard this, she clapped her hands and said, “Exactly! He was talking with Sebastian then, so he must want to record Sebastian.” She thought of it immediately. When she went over, it was just Richard and Sebastian in the study. Sebastian was Richard’s target.

Hearing her say that, Stephanie paused. Then she picked up the phone. “I have to call Sebastian.” Recording a conversation with Sebastian was something no ordinary person would do.

The call went through. Sebastian’s voice quickly answered on the other end, “Are the wedding dresses here?”

Stephanie replied, “No. They haven’t arrived yet.”

Sebastian chuckled. “Oh, missing me already? I just left half an hour ago.”

His voice was gentle and affectionate. Stephanie’s cheeks turned red, and she instinctively glanced at Sofia next to her.

Sofia, feeling like a third wheel, looked at her with dissatisfaction.

Stephanie quickly turned around, covering the phone. “No, it’s not like that.”

Sebastian asked, “Oh? Then what do you want to say?”

“It’s just that Richard came by to ask Sofia to get married and even played a recording.” Stephanie quickly got to the point. If they continued flirting, Sofia might just start crying.

Though Sofia always acted like she didn’t care about Dan, Stephanie remembered how Sofia looked when she returned: her hair was messed up, and her clothes were wet. Obviously, Sofia had been outside for quite a while.

Every strong person had a soft spot. Sofia did care about Dan since she had feelings for him for a long time.

Sebastian frowned, “What recording?”

“It was when Richard said Sofia wouldn’t agree to marry him, and then suddenly Sofia’s voice popped up, saying she would.” “We’re now wondering what exactly was recorded when Richard talked to you. Only you know what it was, and he’s probably trying to blackmail you.” Stephanie summed up all the main points.

When Sebastian heard that Richard recorded him, his eyes, behind those gold-rimmed glasses, flashed with a cold gleam in a blink. “Hmm, don’t worry, he wouldn’t dare.”

If Richard dared to blackmail him, that meant Richard was feeling uneasy in Fiorenza. When he was in Paginara, he always wanted to go back to Fiorenza.

Stephanie reminded him, “Just be careful with him. Even though he explained most of the past events to you and Lottie, Sofia and I still don’t think he’s a good person.”

Sebastian had previously mentioned that Richard was a good person. But Stephanie didn’t believe that, nor did Sofia.

Things were really chaotic back then. Although a lot of what Richard said made sense, it had been such a long time that she couldn’t recall many of the details.

Sebastian nodded, saying, “Yeah, I know.”

“Okay, I’ll hang up now. Take care.”

“Alright.” Sebastian hung up the phone. A cold look flashed in his eyes as he took off his glasses and massaged his aching temples. “Have all of Richard’s claims been confirmed?”

Elliot nodded. “Yes, everything’s been verified. It’s true.”

Sebastian fell silent and put his glasses back on, but the coldness in his eyes remained.

Elliot asked, confused, “Are you really going to let Ms. Giovanni marry Mr. Casalini?”

“Sofia has her own opinions. She’ll just drive Richard mad.”

Elliot’s mouth twitched when he heard that. Honestly, it was true.

Out of nowhere, Richard decided to marry Sofia. Nobody knew what he was up to. But during his time in Paginara, he might have missed one thing: Sofia and Luca were the two most troublesome women in Fiorenza.

If Richard thought marrying Sofia would hide something, he was completely mistaken. If Sofia didn’t totally turn his life upside down, he was very lucky.

Chapter 583

At the Giovanni residence, Stephanie had just hung up the phone with Sebastian when Ella called. On the phone, Ella assured Stephanie that she hadn’t done anything, just as she promised.

Stephanie said, “Good job, that’s exactly what you should do.”

Stephanie thought that the trouble Ella created for Lorenzo was because Ella tried too hard. If it were in Long Harbor, Ella would have come up with these ideas on her own without Stephanie’s advice. But being around Lorenzo really spooked her.

However, Stephanie overlooked one thing – Ella and Lorenzo were actually living together.

But then she heard Ella say, “I ripped Lorenzo’s clothes.” Ella admitted with a tone of resignation.

When Ella suddenly confessed, Stephanie paused for several seconds, unable to process it immediately. In her mind, words kept replaying: belt buckle, towel, pants, clothes. “Did you just strip Lorenzo of nearly everything he was wearing?”

Ella’s resignation was understandable. Just listening to it made Stephanie feel resigned on her behalf.
