Chapter 550

When logic wasn’t working, Richard just became even more stubborn. Honestly, that was just how he was. ‘Stephanic, that damn girl. She misunderstood everything three years ago, and now she’s blaming me? I even sent her a text from another phone back then. How could she have missed it?’ he thought.

Sebastian looked at him coldly. “You want me to give her back to you?”

Richard said firmly, “Yeah, she’s mine. You have to give her back to me. I’m not backing down.”

When it came to Stephanie, Richard was serious—there was no talking him out of it.

Sebastian sneered, flicking his cigarette butt into the ashtray. “I saw your hands earlier. Didn’t they look like they were on Sofia’s chest?”

Richard’s lips twitched. “What the hell?”

‘Earlier? What’s he talking about? Didn’t he know the situation? There’s no way I meant anything else by doing that, right?’ Richard thought.

Sebastian raised an eyebrow. “So, you’re not planning to take responsibility?”

Richard blinked, thinking, ‘What? Responsibility? What the hell is he talking about? Is he serious?’

Seeing that Sebastian wasn’t joking, Richard stared at him and said, “Just so you know, I came here for a reason. Sofia stole something from me.”

“Sebastian, don’t be shameless. You’re really pulling this crap now? Do you even have any shame?” he said.

‘I came to get my stuff from Sofia and ask him to give Stefi back to me. What is this? Does he want to force Sofia on me just because Dan dumped her? Is that the deal here?’ Richard thought, fuming.

Sebastian lit another cigarette. “But you did touch her chest. Sofia’s still a girl. Her reputation…”

‘What’s he talking about? Like Sofia’s some fragile little thing,’ Richard thought.

Richard’s anger flared. “Is she really a girl? Sebastian, do you think Sofia’s a woman? You want to swear to that?”

Before Richard could say anything else, Sebastian raised his hand. “I swear.”

Richard couldn’t believe it, thinking, ‘What the hell? He’s seriously swearing? Did I piss off the Giovanni family in my past life or something?’

“Are you getting back at me? You want Sofia to torture me?” Richard snapped, his anger boiling over. It was clear now that Sebastian was forcing Sofia on him for Stephanie’s sake.

Richard’s chest hurt from the rage. “You want her to poison me in the middle of the night or something?”

‘What is this? It’s not just giving me a woman. He knows exactly what Sofia’s like. She’s not a woman. She’s a ticking time bomb,’ he thought.

“Stop talking nonsense,” Richard said exasperatedly.

Sebastian chuckled lightly. “My sister isn’t someone you can mess with.”

Richard frowned, thinking, ‘What’s he trying to pull? Is he being serious right now?’

“Sofia’s one true love was Dan. He’s still the one in her heart,” Sebastian said. “Not everyone can mess with her? Well, Dan sure did a number on her,” he added.

Sofia had gone to find Dan, only to find out he was about to marry someone else. That was like a day in the life, bosh and clear.

Sebastian took another drag from his cigarette. “How do you know Daris [sic] ruining his life wow!”

Richard raised an eyebrow. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

He thought, ‘Why did he ask that? So Dan is not living a comfortable life now? No way. Beds [sic] past went to Sandara, and a lot of things are still up in the air.’ ‘Now Sebastian’s going after Dan? People who understand will say he’s just protecting his sister, but others will say he’s being unreasonable. But Sebastian doesn’t seem like the type to care about logic.’

“I just touched her chest by accident, and now you want me to marry Sofia? Does Sofia even want that?” Richard was fuming, practically jumping out of his seat.

Before Sebastian could reply, Sofia’s voice came from the doorway, “I want to…”

Sebastian froze, surprised by her answer.
