When Elle called, Stephanie reluctantly tore her eyes away from the patties. She answered the phone, her voice still holding a tremor. "I need your help, Ella cried. As she heard Stephanie’s voice, all the emotions she had been holding in burst forth.

Mephanie’s eyelid twitched sharply. “What happened to you?”

Ella’s voice broke as she said, “My mom somehow offended someone, and those people have been after me all the way to Fiorenza. They’re super aggressive—they even kidnapped Emily!”

“Huh?” Stephanie was shocked.

Ella continued, “I suspect the incident at Long Harbor Airport was caused by them too. They were here to catch me.”

Right now, the TV was reporting the Long Harbor Airport incident. Based on the surveillance footage, the scene inside was extremely chaotic, with everything smashed to pieces. Those people looked like they were there to eliminate, rather than capture, them.

Stephanie glanced at the TV screen, then at her phone. “Where are you?”

“I’m in Lorenzo’s car,” Ella replied.

Stephanie’s eyes widened. Sebastian looked at her—he had heard the phone on speaker.

“In Lorenzo’s car? Then I’m relieved,” Stephanie said, even though she couldn’t help but feel a little worried.

“But he’s even more dangerous. Stefi, you have to save—” Ella’s voice was cut off by a muffled sound.

Stephanie froze. She glanced at her phone, now dark and lifeless. It was obvious who ended the call. She drew a sharp breath and looked at Sebastian. “Maybe you should call Lorenzo?”

“What should I say?” Sebastian asked.

Stephanie recalled how frightened Ella had been and said, “Tell him not to bully Ella.”

Honestly, with Lorenzo’s personality, even Stephanie felt a bit intimidated when he was angry. And for Ella, who had never encountered someone like him, it was even more daunting. Plus, Lorenzo had an inherent dangerous aura about him. Even when he wasn’t angry, facing him alone was quite intimidating.

Sebastian set down his fork, grabbed a napkin, and said calmly, “Lorenzo won’t trouble her?”

“But Ella is scared. You should call Lorenzo and ask him to be less harsh,” Stephanie insisted.

Sebastian’s slender fingers tapped rhythmically on the tabletop as he glanced at Stephanie. “Is Ella in Lorenzo’s car now?”

Stephanie nodded and said, “Have Lorenzo take her to my villa.”

She thought about it and realized sending Ella directly to the Giovanni family wasn’t very appropriate. She had a villa nearby, and it had staff who kept it ready. So, sending Ella to her private villa was the best option.

Sebastian said, “Lorenzo probably doesn’t have time right now.”

“What?” Stephanie was confused.

Sebastian said, “He’s currently on his way to a robbery.” He had just received a call that a shipment from the Dohrn family was about to dock, and Lorenzo’s attention should be fully occupied with that shipment.

A robbery? Are you serious? Stephanie couldn’t help but exclaim, “Won’t that scare Ella to death?”

“It’s such a blow for Ella to face two events like this in just a few hours. Now, Lorenzo is even up to rob? It’s definitely going to be intense. Ella might get so scared that she’ll faint,” Stephanie thought.

Sebastian kept silent.

Stephanie got worried. “You’ve got to help Ella. She’ll be scared.”

Just then, Macro came in from outside and just heard Stephanie say that.

Then Stephanie added, “What are the chances? Those two actually met at the airport.”

And now Lorenzo was taking her to that kind of scene. Stephanie didn’t think Ella could handle it.

Macro stepped forward. “Did those two really meet?”
