Chapter 370

Stephanie changed out of her damp clothes in the room. Sebastian led her and Macro off the cruise ship. โ€œWhere are we going now?โ€ she asked.

Sebastian took her hand, his grip gentle but firm. โ€œTo find someone. Just stay close,โ€ he said quietly.

Macro and Elliot exchanged a knowing glance. Richard had taken Bernie, but Sebastian was determined to get whatever it was back this time.

Stephanie felt the coldness emanating from Sebastian, and she fell silent, simply following him.

As they got into the car, her phone buzzed. It was Ella. โ€œHey, Ella,โ€ Stephanie answered.

โ€œGirl, thereโ€™s a fight going on,โ€ Ella said, her voice trembling with excitement.

Stephanieโ€™s eyes widened. โ€œWhoโ€™s fighting now?โ€

โ€œAmber and Olivia. Itโ€™s intense,โ€ Ella replied.

Stephanie was stunned. โ€œAmberโ€™s fighting Olivia? How did you even find out?โ€

โ€œIโ€™m at the villa next to the Hart residence. I left some stuff here after an interview, so I came to get it,โ€ Ella explained.

โ€œYou really do have a knack for stumbling into drama,โ€ Stephanie said with a small smile.

โ€œIโ€™ll send you a video,โ€ Ella promised before hanging up.

Stephanie could tell from Ellaโ€™s tone that things at the Hart residence were about to get very interesting. On the other end of the line, Ellaโ€™s hands shook with excitement as she quickly pulled out her phone to record the scene. She had known the Hart family would be in chaos the moment Amber decided to move in forcibly. After all, she had seen how fiery Amber could be at the hospital. And now, just as she had expected, things were heating up.

At the Hart residence, the tension was palpable. Amber yanked Olivia off the bed. โ€œGet out of here, now,โ€ she barked, flung open the closet, and tossed Oliviaโ€™s belongings out in a disheveled pile.

Olivia was already in a dire state, her illness exacerbated by the lack of medical care over the past few days. Amberโ€™s rough shove nearly drained the last of her strength. She coughed violently, her body wracked with pain.

Amberโ€™s face twisted with contempt as she threw the clothes at Oliviaโ€™s head. She sneered, โ€œAccusing me of stealing your diamond necklace? Ha, Olivia, youโ€™ve got some nerve. Youโ€™re just an adopted daughter with too much drama.โ€

โ€œYou might have tricked Stephanie before, but Iโ€™ll never fall for your little game. Do you think you can force me out of the Hart family like this? Iโ€™m the mother of their grandson, so who do you think you are?โ€

Amber was seething with anger, her mind racing back to the confrontation downstairs. Catlin had sharply ordered her to hand over Oliviaโ€™s necklace, threatening to kick her out if she didnโ€™t comply. Catlin even bought this storyโ€”this was ridiculous.

โ€œPlaying the victim, huh? Wanna kick me out?โ€ Amber taunted, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Olivia shook her head, tears brimming in her eyes. โ€œIt wasnโ€™t me, I swear.โ€

Before Olivia could finish denying it, Amber stormed over and slapped her across the face. Oliviaโ€™s head snapped to the side, stinging with pain. She gasped, her eyes wide with shock and hurt.

Hearing the commotion, Catlin rushed in, her face flushed with anger. โ€œAmber, have you lost your mind! Put that down. You donโ€™t get to call the shots in this house,โ€ she snapped, her voice sharp and commanding.

Olivia looked at Catlin with tear-filled eyes, feeling wronged. โ€œMom, I said we can just forgive her; thereโ€™s no need to argue. Look, she just got me wrong and made a scene here.โ€

โ€œForgive me? Oh, youโ€™re playing nice now!โ€ Amber flared up again, grabbing a bunch of clothes and hurling them, hangers and all, at Olivia.

The hook of the hanger scratched Oliviaโ€™s forehead, making her yelp in pain.

But Amber wasnโ€™t done. Still angry, she grabbed another handful of clothes, ready to throw them at Olivia once more.

Catlin pulled her into a firm hold. โ€œAmber, thatโ€™s enough. Stop it now,โ€ she demanded.

โ€œGet her out. She has to leave,โ€ Amber insisted, her voice rising.

Catlin remained extremely biased towards Olivia. โ€œShut up. You donโ€™t get to take charge in this house. If anyoneโ€™s got to leave, itโ€™s you.โ€
