Chapter 366

Just then, Macroโ€™s voice came through the line, brash and unfiltered. โ€œHey, Mr. Casalini, this Theodore guy is such a crybaby. Do you think he can handle my little experiment?โ€

Richardโ€™s eyes turned cold, narrowing with a hint of danger. Theodore, who had been begging Richard for help just moments ago, exploded in anger. โ€œWho are you calling a crybaby, you insensitive jerk?โ€

Macro was confused, but he still replied, โ€œIโ€™m talking about you, man.โ€

Without warning, Macro pressed the scalpel against Theodoreโ€™s neck and glanced at Richard on the phone. โ€œMr. Casalini, shall we start with his carotid artery?โ€

Stephanieโ€™s heart skipped a beat. The carotid arteryโ€”that was a death threat if she ever heard one.

Richardโ€™s voice was chillingly calm. โ€œDo you really think Theodore matters to me?โ€

Theodore cried, โ€œNo, Richardโ€”โ€

โ€œForget it. Kill him if you want. He means nothing to me. But what about Stephanie? Sheโ€™s so delicate. Have you thought about that, Sebastian?โ€

โ€œIโ€™m not as gentle as you. If she gets hurt or looks a little worse for wear, donโ€™t blame me,โ€ Richard said, his tone dripping with malice.

Macroโ€™s response was swift. โ€œFine. Iโ€™ll just kill him now.โ€

The scalpel sliced into Theodoreโ€™s neck, and he let out a scream of agony, trying to grab the scalpel from Macro. In an instant, they were locked in a brutal fight.

Meanwhile, Stephanie grabbed Richardโ€™s wrist and bit down hard, her teeth sinking into his flesh.

Richard hissed in pain. โ€œUgh! Stephanie, bite me again?โ€

The situation on both ends of the call spiraled into chaos. Macro roared, โ€œTheodore, you piece of trash. Iโ€™m going to make you pay!โ€

Richard shouted, โ€œStephanie, you crazy woman! Let go of me.โ€

Earlier, she had hit him with a steel showerhead, and now she was biting him. Richardโ€™s head was ringing, and he couldnโ€™t believe she was still going at him.

Stephanie had no intention of letting go. She had finally gotten the upper hand, and she wasnโ€™t about to let it go.

There was a loud bang from the other end of the line, followed by a brief, eerie silence.

Theodore stared at Sebastian, his eyes wide with fear, blood trickling down his leg. For a moment, he forgot the pain, but then he let out a scream that could curdle blood.

Sebastian looked at Richard on the screen. โ€œNot important?โ€

Richard replied immediately. โ€œLeave him alone.โ€

Sebastian just said, โ€œRelease Stephanie, and youโ€™ll get what you want.โ€

Chapter 366

Richardโ€™s anger flared. โ€œGive me what I want first.โ€

At that moment, Richard realized that holding Stephanie was his only leverage against Sebastian. If he gave her back, heโ€™d lose his bargaining chip.

โ€œRichard,โ€ Sebastianโ€™s voice cut through the tension, โ€œJust hurry up.โ€ Richard growled.

He hung up abruptly, then grabbed Stephanieโ€™s chin, his grip tight and menacing. โ€œTry biting me again, and Iโ€™ll knock your teeth out.โ€

Richard was seething. Heโ€™d never imagined Stephanie would have the audacity to bite him. She was unpredictable and reckless, and it was driving him crazy.

โ€œGo ahead,โ€ Stephanie taunted, opening her mouth wide, her teeth still stained with his blood.

Richardโ€™s anger surged, but he knew better than to act impulsively. โ€œIf I hurt you now, Sebastian will be after me in an instant. Iโ€™ll deal with you later. After I get what I want,โ€ he muttered, shoving her away roughly.

Stephanie just rolled her eyes again.

Richardโ€™s frustration boiled over. She knew he wouldnโ€™t really hurt her, and that realization only made him angrier.

He glared at her, his temper barely in check. โ€œJust tell me the truth. Did Sebastian get that thing or not?โ€ he demanded. He didnโ€™t trust Sebastianโ€™s words over the phone.

Stephanie raised an eyebrow. โ€œWill you believe what I say?โ€

Richardโ€™s eyes narrowed. Of course, he would doubt her answer. After all, everyone knew she was on Sebastianโ€™s side.

Sebastian sat there, an unsettling chill radiating from him.

Macro, having just dragged himself through the water, was exhausted. As he heaved himself out, he saw Sebastian pinning Theodore down. With Theodoreโ€™s injured leg, he was no longer a threat. Macro was so drained that he collapsed onto the ground, too tired to move.

Elliot returned and was taken aback by the sight of Theodore. โ€œSir,โ€ he muttered, his voice tinged with surprise.
