Chapter 294

As soon as Lorenzo entered, he saw Macro pacing anxiously, talking to Stephanie about something. Sebastianโ€™s face had darkened considerably. As Lorenzo untied his scarf, he said, โ€œIf you keep talking, your mouth will really be sewn shut.โ€ He casually removed his coat and tossed it to a servant. Lorenzo was extremely handsome, with a Western face, gold-rimmed glasses, and a cold, abstinent look. It was only when he spoke that his personality belied his cold and serious demeanor.

Macro saw him and said angrily, โ€œGo, go, go! Itโ€™s not your sister; of course, youโ€™re not in a hurry.โ€ Lorenzo raised an eyebrow and said, โ€œYour sister?โ€ Macro was speechless. Lorenzo stated, โ€œLuka is a tough one.โ€ Lorenzo knew about Lukaโ€™s arrival in Long Harbor and that she had brought Sofiaโ€™s people with her. Sofia had just been returned to Fiorenza by Sebastianโ€™s men, and Lukaโ€™s arrival followed closely on the heels of Sofiaโ€™s people. Everyone knew what was happening. Macroโ€™s heart skipped a beat.

Lorenzo stepped forward, patted him on the shoulder, and said, โ€œWouldnโ€™t it be better for them to be rivals? Why do they have to be sisters?โ€ Macro replied, โ€œNo, theyโ€™re definitely not sisters.โ€ Luka and Sofia? How many years had these two been at odds? How could they be sisters? Lorenzo asked, โ€œOh? Why did Luka bring Sofiaโ€™s people to Long Harbor this time?โ€ Macro was speechless, completely at a loss. He had been in Long Harbor with Sebastian, unaware of what transpired in Fiorenza. How did Luka and Sofia get mixed up? They used to fight whenever they met. How could they be sisters? Macro felt a terrible headache coming on.

โ€œStefi.โ€ He had no choice but to look at Stephanie. After all, Sebastian never compromised on Stephanie. Stephanie also had a headache. Seeing Macro so anxious, she tugged on Sebastianโ€™s clothes. Sebastian looked down at her. โ€œWhatโ€™s wrong?โ€ Stephanie said, โ€œAfter you find Sister Luka, just have someone send her back.โ€ After so many years of friendship with Macro, Stephanie couldnโ€™t bear to see him so distraught. Macro was relieved to hear Stephanie finally say something reasonable.

Sebastian raised an eyebrow and whispered in Stephanieโ€™s ear, โ€œDoes Stefi know that thereโ€™s a price to be paid for asking for favors?โ€ Stephanie was shocked. Sebastian said the word โ€˜priceโ€™ meaningfully. Macro and Lorenzo were some distance away and didnโ€™t hear what Sebastian was saying to Stephanie. It was the way he was whisperingโ€ฆ Macroโ€™s heart skipped a beat. What was he saying to Stephanie? Especially to Stephanieโ€”was he talking about Luka? Why was she blushing? Stephanie glared at Sebastian resentfully, but in Macroโ€™s eyes, it was full of coquetry. Stephanie stammered, โ€œAnyway, donโ€™t hurt anyone.โ€ She thought of what happened to Tyler. Stephanieโ€™s heart felt a little scared. She didnโ€™t want Sebastian to do the same to the people around him. He wouldnโ€™t say a word if he killed the Hart family, but the people around him, no way. However, Stephanie was overthinking it. If Sebastian were to lay a hand on those around him one day, it must be because theyโ€™d crossed a line.

Before Sebastian could answer, Stephanieโ€™s phone rang. It was an unknown number. She didnโ€™t answer and hung up immediately. However, the next moment, the phone rang again. Stephanie stood up. โ€œIโ€™m going to take this.โ€ Oh my, the atmosphere is so stifling. She quickly used the excuse of answering the phone to go upstairs.

Sebastian glanced at Macro, didnโ€™t speak, and immediately called Sofia. The other side quickly answered. โ€œBrother.โ€ โ€œWhy did Luka bring your people to Long Harbor?โ€ Sofia was speechless. They went silent. Sebastianโ€™s tone was so serious that Sofiaโ€™s breathing hitched.
