Leviโ€™s POV

โ€œMate!โ€ My wolf roared in my mind, jolting me awake on the couch. Panic seized me. I raced from my room toward hers, my heart pounding, my wolf howling in distress. Lennox and Louis, their eyes mirroring my own terror, were already sprinting in the same direction. Their wolves had alerted them too.

I didnโ€™t wait for them, bursting into Oliviaโ€™s room. She wasnโ€™t there. My heart hammered as I searched the bathroomโ€”nothing. Her scent lingered, but she was gone. I stormed back into the bedroom, attempting a mind link, but the connection failed. I gasped, trying again, but still no response.

โ€œGuards!โ€ Lennox yelled, his anxious voice echoing through the mansion.

โ€œSheโ€™s not connecting,โ€ Louis said, worried, running a hand through his hair.

Fear gripped me. My wolfโ€™s warning was undeniable; something was terribly wrong. Olivia was in danger, but how?

About ten guards rushed in.

โ€œSearch every corner of this mansion for our wife,โ€ Lennox ordered. โ€œNow!โ€

But I didn't wait. I followed Oliviaโ€™s fading scentโ€”out of her room, through the hallway, down the back corridors, past the garden. Her scent grew fainter and fainter, finally disappearing at the main gate.

Just disappeared.

โ€œNo,โ€ I whispered, frozen. โ€œNo, no, noโ€ฆโ€

Lennox and Louis reached me at the gate. The despair on their faces confirmed my fear: Olivia was gone. She wasn't in the mansion.

My heart pounded as I quickly established a mind link with the border guards.

โ€œWho left the border recently?โ€ I demanded.

โ€œNo one, Alpha,โ€ one guard replied.

I growled in frustration. โ€œOur mate is missing! Sheโ€™s not in the mansion. Check every border point again. If anyone approaches, alert me immediately. Donโ€™t let anyone through. Understood?โ€

โ€œYes, Alpha!โ€ they replied in unison.

I closed the link and turned to Lennox, already striding away, his jaw clenched in anger.

โ€œIโ€™m going to the CCTV room,โ€ he said.

Without hesitation, Louis and I followed. My heart raced, terrifying scenarios swirling in my mind. My wolfโ€™s troubled howls amplified my fear. Something was definitely wrong.

We reached the security room, breathless. Lennox went straight to the door, his thumb scanning the lock. The light turned green, the door clicking open.

The room was filled with screens displaying different parts of the mansion. Lennox quickly sat at the main computer and began typing rapidly.

โ€œIโ€™m pulling up the camera in Oliviaโ€™s hallway,โ€ he said.

The screen changed, showing the hallway outside her room. Lennox rewound the footage to a few minutes prior.

We all stared at the screen. But nothing moved.

โ€œItโ€™s frozen,โ€ Louis said, confused.

โ€œThe footage isnโ€™t playing,โ€ I added.

Lennoxโ€™s eyes narrowed. His fingers flew across the keyboard.

โ€œSomeone paused the camera,โ€ he said angrily.

My heart sank. โ€œPaused it? Why would anyone do that?โ€

โ€œSo we wouldnโ€™t see who took her,โ€ Lennox growled.

He tried to restart the footage, but the screen remained stuck on the same image of the empty hallway.

As Lennox worked, my eyes drifted to another screen. Something caught my attention. A truck, driving out through the main gate just minutes ago.

โ€œWait,โ€ I said, pointing. โ€œLook at that.โ€

Lennox and Louis turned to the screen. The truck was familiarโ€”the one that delivered supplies to the pack house.

But something felt wrong.

โ€œThatโ€™s the supply truck,โ€ Louis said.

โ€œYeah,โ€ I replied, narrowing my eyes. โ€œBut why is it leaving now? It never comes at night.โ€

The timing was too perfect. Olivia disappeared, the cameras were paused, and now the truck was leaving in the dark?

My gut twisted.

โ€œShe might be in that truck,โ€ I said. โ€œLetโ€™s go!โ€

We ran out of the room and toward the main gate, my heart racing, my wolf howling with rage.

The guards stood at attention.

โ€œWhat truck just left?โ€ Lennox demanded.

โ€œThe supply truck, Alpha,โ€ one guard replied. โ€œThey said they were returning some empty crates.โ€

โ€œAt night?โ€ I snapped. โ€œWho gave them permission?โ€

The guards exchanged nervous glances.

โ€œNo one, Alpha,โ€ another guard answered. โ€œThey said they were cleared by someone inside.โ€

Lennox growled, Louis clenched his fists.

โ€œThey took her,โ€ I said through gritted teeth. โ€œThey used the damn truck to sneak her out.โ€

Without hesitation, we jumped into the nearest black SUV. I drove, Lennox and Louis beside me, slamming the doors shut.

I floored the gas pedal, the tires screeching as we sped from the pack house. My hands gripped the steering wheel, my heart pounding ferociously. My wolf clawed to break free, to run, to find her.

โ€œFaster,โ€ Lennox growled.

โ€œI know,โ€ I muttered, eyes on the road.

The truck couldnโ€™t have gone far.

We followed the narrow road leading out of pack territory, our headlights cutting through the night. I drove as if my life depended on itโ€”because it did. Olivia was my life.

Then, ten minutes into the drive, I saw it.

โ€œThere!โ€ I shouted.

Up ahead, parked awkwardly, was the truck.

I slammed on the brakes. We flew out of the car and raced to the truck.

But it was empty. The back doors were wide open. No one was inside.

โ€œNoโ€ฆโ€ Louis whispered.

โ€œThey ditched it,โ€ Lennox growled, kicking a tire. โ€œThey knew weโ€™d follow.โ€

I sniffed the air, catching only a faint, fading trace of her scent.

โ€œThey transferred her to another vehicle,โ€ I said, rage burning. โ€œThey planned this.โ€

Lennoxโ€™s eyes glowed, Louis looked ready to shift. Lennox pulled out his phone, his hands trembling. He dialed Gabrielโ€™s number.

We waited in tense silence as the phone rang.

โ€œPick upโ€ฆโ€ Lennox muttered. โ€œPick up, damn it.โ€

Finally, the call connected.

โ€œWhat?โ€ Gabrielโ€™s voice, annoyed and sleepy, came through the speaker.

โ€œWhere is Olivia?โ€ Lennox barked.

A pause. โ€œWhat? What are you talking about?โ€

โ€œDonโ€™t play dumb,โ€ Lennox growled. โ€œDid you take her?โ€

Gabrielโ€™s voice sharpened. โ€œTake her? Are you insane? Iโ€™ve been in meetings all day. I havenโ€™t been near your pack house.โ€

I watched Lennox closely. His expression shiftedโ€”not relief, but something worse. Truth. Gabriel wasnโ€™t lying.

โ€œSheโ€™s gone,โ€ I said, loud enough for Gabriel to hear.

โ€œWhat do you mean gone?โ€ Gabrielโ€™s tone turned worried. โ€œWhat happened?โ€

โ€œShe was taken,โ€ Louis said tightly. โ€œFrom her room. Someone used a supply truck to sneak her out. The truckโ€™s been ditched, and her scent is almost gone.โ€

Gabriel cursed. โ€œI swear on the Moon Goddess, I had nothing to do with this.โ€

Lennox sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. He sensed Gabrielโ€™s innocence.

โ€œFuck!โ€ he grunted, ending the call.

Standing on the dark road, our worry was palpable. Where could Olivia be? She hadn't left willingly; my wolf's distress and my own gut feeling confirmed that. Someone had taken her, and she was in grave danger. Tomorrow night was the full moon! Olivia was in serious trouble.

I turned to my brothers. โ€œWeโ€ฆ need to act fast,โ€ I said, my voice tight with worry.

Lennox grunted and nodded. โ€œLetโ€™s go to the seerโ€ฆ we canโ€™t waste any more time,โ€ he said, and the three of us jumped back into the car.

As I drove, a mind link arrived from a border patrol. โ€œAlphaโ€ฆ a helicopterโ€ฆ we just saw a helicopter fly past usโ€ฆโ€

My breath hitched. I slammed on the brakes.

Lennox and Louis looked at me, sensing the shift. โ€œWhat is it?โ€ Lennox asked, tense.

I took a deep breath. โ€œI think Olivia was taken by a helicopter. The men at the border just reported seeing one fly past,โ€ I said.

โ€œShit!โ€ Lennox and Louis grunted.

I said nothing, restarting the engine and flooring the gas pedal, the tires screeching as we sped toward the seer.
