Chapter 50

Charles regretted not pursuing Isabella. Isabella, speechless, glanced at Samuel, thinking, "Is Samuel so clueless about romance?" Although Samuel appeared cold, his actions weren't unromantic. He fixed Charles with an icy gaze and said coldly, "Keep howling, and I'll throw you out." Charles immediately fell silent. His comical behavior prompted laughter from the others. "Charles, come on. You need to challenge Samuel," one said. "Yeah, go for it, and I've got your back," another chimed in. Charles thought, "A group of onlookers—they don't mind making a scene and are adding fuel to the fire!"

Knock!

Someone knocked on the box door. All eyes turned to the entrance. Ivana pushed open the door. Seeing the group of distinguished men, jealousy flashed in her eyes. She thought, "Isabella is sitting with the most handsome man. Why is she so lucky? This club isn't just for the wealthy, but for influential people."

Feeling the weight of their gazes, Ivana offered a gracious smile. "Hello, I'm Isabella's sister. I'm here to find her." Charles frowned. "You're Isabella's sister?" he asked. He thought Ivana wasn't in Isabella's league and sensed her cunning. Unaware of his assessment, Ivana believed he was interested in her. She smiled sweetly at Isabella. "Isabella, we're waiting for you." She subtly adjusted her hair, believing it would attract Charles, but he didn't even glance at her, leaving her embarrassed.

Isabella hesitated. Luna was still there, and Isabella felt she needed to speak with her; Luna had organized the party.

Turning to Samuel, Isabella said, "My best friend Luna is over there. I need to see her." Samuel nodded slightly. As Isabella stood, he softly said, "You're not allowed to dance in public anymore." His voice was extremely domineering.

Charles and the others teased, "You're so possessive, Samuel," and, "Samuel is jealous!" This made Isabella awkward. She softly coughed and left.

Ivana struggled to remain calm, thinking, "Isabella has snagged another one? Is that why she left Jayden? Could this guy be even better than Jayden?" Furious, she waited until late at night when the hallway was nearly empty. She stepped in front of Isabella, asking sweetly, "Isabella, who were those guys?" Isabella was aware of Ivana's intentions.

Isabella's eyes instantly turned icy. She let out a mocking laugh. "Why do you ask? You want to have your cake and eat it too?" She thought it was consistent with Ivana's egotism to ask such a question; Ivana and Jayden were a perfect match.

Ivana froze, unprepared for Isabella's bluntness. Losing her composure, she sneered, "You're getting cozy with a bunch of random guys. Do you think you're being fair to Jayden?"

Isabella was stunned, thinking, "Why is she so shameless?" Seeing Ivana's smug look, Isabella stepped forward, glaring. "Did you consider being fair to me when you slept with Jayden?"

Isabella's intimidation caused Ivana to instinctively step back. Ivana's face paled. She shouted angrily, "That's not true! I had nothing to do with Jayden!" She thought, "If Jayden knew this, he'd be furious. That bitch, Isabella." Feeling panicked, she forced calm. "Your messy life isn't an excuse to make up stories about me." She smirked, leaning toward Isabella's car, "Or is it because you know how noble they are, so you're willing to serve them?"

The sight of the men around Isabella fueled her dissatisfaction. Isabella grabbed Ivana's jaw, her anger morphing into a mocking smile. "Ivana, your mother acts like this, and you do too. Do you think the only way to please a man is in bed?"

Ivana's mind raced with thoughts she wouldn't dare voice publicly. Furious, she said, "You've gone too far!" But Isabella's sharp gaze silenced her. Isabella chuckled softly. "Ivana, making me angry won't do you any good." She released Ivana's chin. Ivana stumbled back, hitting the wall. Panic filled her eyes. "What did Isabella's expression mean? What was she going to do?" Isabella had already left.

Ivana stamped her foot, eyes full of hatred. "That bitch, Isabella!" She hadn't expected Isabella to remain so tight-lipped, revealing nothing about the men's identities. A bad feeling washed over her; she pondered Isabella's words.

The door opened. Amidst laughter, Mark and his companions turned. Seeing Isabella, their eyes lit up. Mark whistled, grinning. "I never knew you were hiding such talents, Isabella. That dance was amazing." There was no disrespect. Kevin and others laughed, "Yeah, we were all amazed. Really impressive." Kevin gave Isabella a thumbs-up.

Isabella chuckled, lightening her mood. Jayden's eyes were gloomy; Isabella hadn't looked at him once. He found her unpredictable. Luna pulled Isabella to sit beside her. "Isabella, sit with me." Luna was happy, even happier hearing the praise for Isabella than if it were for herself. Jill tilted her head, smiling curiously. "Bella, who was that guy earlier? He was super handsome."
