He meticulously examined the results, comparing them to the previous tests, shaking his head and sighing repeatedly. This whole process left Tessa somewhat confused. What was this doctor doing? As she watched the doctor shake his head and sigh, Lucas' gaze darkened. If he couldn’t spot the problem now, he would truly be a fool!

“What are you doing?” Lucas’ sudden voice made Jackson flinch, nearly dropping the test results in his hand.

He paused for a moment, then responded, “I’m comparing the patient’s current test data with the previous ones to see if there’s any improvement.”

“And?”

“Then…” Jackson swallowed hard, feeling the tension rise in his chest. “I found that there’s still no improvement. In fact, there’s even a downward trend.”

Lucas' eyes narrowed. “So?”
