Since Anastasia hadn’t said anything yet, whoever was pulling the strings got even more aggressive. They started paying off influencers and gossip accounts to keep the hate train rolling, spreading even more bullshit. They were basically painting Anastasia as some kind of serial homewrecker who’d sleep with anyone. The mob mentality was in full swing.
Valeria was having the absolute best day of her life. She’d just been throwing shit at the wall to see what stuck, but this was way beyond her wildest dreams. Valeria was practically glowing as she sipped her latte and scrolled through the brutal comments.

Sonia was equally pumped. She hadn’t expected to find someone who despised Anastasia as much as she did. So she had Jenny quietly hire some bot farms to pour gasoline on the fire. Just as Anastasia was getting ready to clap back, Cassian had already started his counterattack. First thing that morning, Philips had rushed into Cassian’s office to brief him on the shitstorm. Philips asked tentatively, “Boss, should we get PR involved…?”
“Get them on this shit immediately. Kill the trending topic,” Cassian said with a dangerous smile. “And get someone to pull the security footage from that hotel. I want to know exactly which asshole thought they could fuck with my wife.”
Deep down, Cassian trusted Anastasia completely. She wasn’t that kind of person. Yeah, seeing those photos had initially made him see red, but Cassian quickly got his head straight. This was obviously a coordinated attack.
Philips didn’t hesitate and got right to work. The trending topic vanished within minutes. First, a major tech influencer posted a breakdown video proving the so-called “intimate photos” were heavily manipulated composites. The original footage clearly showed Anastasia looking uncomfortable and repeatedly trying to escape some creep’s advances. The video was ironclad proof that Anastasia was being harassed, not cheating. The receipts were undeniable. The influencer also emphasized this was completely unedited source material, and anyone who doubted its authenticity could pay for professional forensic analysis.
Immediately after, several major news outlets simultaneously published statements condemning malicious disinformation campaigns. The reversal happened so fast it gave everyone whiplash.
But what really sent the internet into meltdown mode was when Rhodes Global’s official Twitter account directly quote-tweeted the gossip blog that started everything: “See you in court.?” Four words that broke the fucking internet.
