Then, through gritted teeth, she smirked. “But he still went looking for you afterward! Even after I sliced myself, leaked that video, and let the whole world shame me! I made myself look so pathetic, but in the end, he still wanted to get back with you because he felt guilty!”

Vespera’s gaze was piercing. “If you had played the victim, Jule loser, or if you hadn’t teamed up with Felicia to go after me, Luke might have kept leaning toward you. But you got impatient. And now, you’re planning to burn me alive in his house. Are you trying to make sure he never forgets me?”
