In reality, Dominic wasn’t as invincible as Austin had imagined. He had spoken to Luke a few times recently and come to understand him very well. While Dominic’s decision was personal, he had also pieced together what he knew and speculated about what would happen next.

“Luke arrived in a fury before leaving with a grim expression. Even his parents have left the Bowle residence. Austin managed to catch up with Luke, but they had a struggle at the entrance before parting ways on bad terms.”

“Oh, hold on,” the other person continued excitedly. “I have the latest news! The Munozes and Sowles had a falling out in the dining room at the Sowle residence. The Sowles threatened to call off the joint project if Luke refused to marry Tina. Luke stubbornly said they could do whatever they pleased, since he’d never marry Tina. Both families have fallen out for good.”

Dominic ended the call. No one knew how his subordinate obtained such news. Alex and the other executives were in utter shock.

Based on Felicia’s announcement at the press conference, everyone believed that Luke and Tina would marry soon. No one expected that their families would fall out so quickly. They would definitely have a hard time. If Tavian Group only learned of the Munoz and Sowle families’ fallout after disbursing the second round of funding, they would definitely have a hard time getting the money back for a doomed project.
