“Of course. I’m sure anyone who has interacted with him will know how capable he is. He is an outstanding man in every regard.”

Rachel smiled awkwardly at Anne, feeling something off with the latter’s words. Yet, she couldn’t quite pinpoint what the problem was.

Rachel coughed twice.

“Let me share with you the details of our proposal, Ms. Charlton. The core technology of this project is based on the most advanced algorithm in the industry, which promises greatly enhanced efficiency and reduced cost. The project figures are reliable and definitely feasible.

“The competition in this field is heating up, but there is a service gap in the industry. If we can bring this project to fruition, it’ll be a breakthrough for our partnership. In this newly launched Project Stellar, the user just needs to complete the risk assessment survey. The system can automatically calculate the economic prospects and the movements in the industry, and generate an adjustment proposal.”

Anne’s interest was immediately piqued.

“Sounds great, but there is a risk in this proposal. The projected costs are so high, which means that our company has to expend two to three times the usual cost of projects to complete this risky one. Are you very sure it’s feasible?”

Rachel’s eyes were firm and resolute. “Ms. Charlton, you’ve been in this industry for many years and have signed countless projects. You probably know that every project is a gamble, isn’t it?”

Anne rubbed her nose bridge and said as tactfully as she could, “Let me think about it.”

Rachel said thoughtfully, “It’s fine, we still have a few more days. Ms. Charlton, you can take the time you need to consider the proposal, or even check out other companies‘ proposals and compare them with ours. We strongly believe that our proposal is the most superior.”

Anne turned to look at Tyler, who was busy eating, looking completely unbothered by the success of the deal. His good looks, however, made even the way he ate look attractive.

“Tyler, your employee speaks so well. I’m sure she’s very capable.”

Tyler ate a spoonful of food and swallowed it before saying, “She’s not bad at work, but it can’t be compared to how well she tells people off.”

Rachel furrowed her brows tight and kicked Tyler’s leg. He looked up at her with a frown, his eyes flashing warningly.

Anne tilted her head and shot Tyler a strange look. “What?”

“Nothing. She scolds everything in the office, from the heavens to the earth to the air.”

Tyler spooned some more food onto his plate, as if he didn’t just say something out of the ordinary.

Rachel really wanted to ask him if he was that hungry. He clearly had breakfast before they set off just now. He even had a bowl of soup. Was that not enough for him? Why did he look as though he hadn’t eaten for days?

Rachel rolled her eyes at him and forced a smile.

“Mr. Hunt, I think you’ve misunderstood. I’m not as impressive as you describe me to be. Since when was I fierce to anyone in the office? Your words might scare off Ms. Charlton and make her think that our work culture is frightening.”

Rachel was subtly reminding Tyler not to shoot his mouth off. Was it the time for him to argue about such things?
