I looked around in the living room. Winston urged me again, “Ralda, come with me quickly.”

The fierceness in Winston’s eyes dissipated in an instant. He whispered to me, “Ralda, let’s not talk about this anymore. Come with me quickly. If Reynaldo finds out any later, we won’t be able to leave.”
