Chapter 382
I donโt know how long passed, the car finally stopped at the entrance of the hospital.
Braylon quickly unbuckled his seatbelt and then opened the door on Reynaldoโs side, respectfully asking Reynaldo, โMr. Humphrey, should I wait for you outside or go in with you?โ
โWait outside,โ Reynaldo said lightly.
Then I clearly heard Braylon sigh.
Reynaldo got out of the car and saw that I didnโt follow. His eyes instantly turned cold as he glanced at me and said, โYouโd better be more conscious.โ
I reluctantly followed, holding onto his hand.
He gave me a cold look and then turned around and walked into the hospital.
After walking a few steps, as if he thought I was too slow, he turned back and pulled my arm, dragging me inside.
This man was so strong that he pulled my wrist so hard it hurt.
I frowned and peeled his hand off mine, โLet go of me, I can walk by myself!โ
The man remained silent, still holding onto me, and quickened his pace.
I glared at his cold back with hatred; at that moment, I really hated him.
He made an appointment for me with an experienced gynecologist in advance.
We arrived relatively early, and there were hardly any people in the gynecology department.
Reynaldo took me directly to the office of the head of the gynecology department.
Because of Reynaldoโs status, the head of the gynecology department greeted him warmly.
โMr. Humphrey, you have arrived.โ
Reynaldo pointed at me and said to the head of the gynecology department, โGive her an examination to see why she canโt get pregnant.โ
The head of the gynecology department couldnโt help but look at me, she looked me up and down and asked me, โIs your period regular? Have you ever had an abortion before?โ
I clenched my fists tightly by my side, pressing my lips together without saying a word.
The head of the gynecology department frowned at me and asked, โHave you ever had an abortion? Youโd better answer honestly.โ
I still didnโt say a word.
The head of the gynecology department couldnโt help but look at Reynaldo.
Reynaldo glanced at me coldly, his eyes half-closed, exuding a sense of danger.
I took a deep breath and said lightly, โI have never had an abortion, and my period is irregular.โ
The head of the gynecology department ignored me, typing on the keyboard while saying to Reynaldo, โIโll write a few prescriptions first. Let her go for a comprehensive examination, and then show me the examination report to see what the problem is.โ
โIf she really has a problem, we would determine the treatment plan later.โ
Reynaldo nodded.
He paused and then suddenly asked, โIf there is a problem, can it generally be cured?โ
โYes, female infertility can be cured in most cases.โ
Reynaldo pursed his lips, as if he had let out a sigh of relief.
I glared at him angrily, not understanding why he insisted that I have a baby for him.
There are so many women in this world; even if Kimberly has a weak body and cannot give birth, as long as he says a word, there are plenty of women willing to give birth for him.
Why did he insist on me?
Did he want to use the child to retaliate against me?!
I came out of the directorโs office.
Reynaldo looked at the list and then said to me, โBlood test on the third floor, ultrasound and routine check-up on the second floor, letโs go.โ
I didnโt move.
