When I turned around, our eyes met.

Reynaldo ignored my resistance, stared at me, and slowly said, “I told you in Yoripero that when you come back, I will take you for a check-up.”

“No, don’t.”

It was too sudden. I thought these days he was disgusted with me, cold to me, so I just let it go. I didn’t expect that he still remembered all along.
