“But we were in the top ten nationwide; we just don't know if Mr. Galatea wants to expand his domestic business.”

“Yes, Mr. Galatea,” I interjected, “working together, you expand domestically, we expand internationally—isn’t that a win-win situation?”

Reynaldo glanced at me indifferently but remained silent, awaiting Matthew’s response.

After five minutes, he smiled faintly. “It seems Mr. Galatea isn’t interested in cooperating with our Durham Group. In that case, let’s discuss it another time.”

Jonathan anxiously gestured for Reynaldo to stay and continue talking to Matthew. Reynaldo ignored him, gesturing for me to leave. I had just risen when Matthew chuckled. “Whether those two beauties are willing to drink with me is a minor detail. Since I'm here, I sincerely want to discuss business.”
