Chapter 43: Morning After

Fraser didn't want to hear another word about Trevor from Summer. He lifted her, supporting her hips, and pinned her against the wall, spreading her legs. Suspended in midair, Summer instinctively wrapped her arms around Fraserโ€™s neck. Her entire body clung to him, arms and legs intertwined. A faint smile tugged at the corner of Fraserโ€™s lips, pleased with Summerโ€™s compliance. His anger slowly dissipated. He tore off her coat and threw it to the ground without a second thought.

Her sexy nightgown was revealed, a patch of ethereal skin on her chest as seductive as white porcelain in the light. Fraserโ€™s throat felt dry and tight; his eyes darkened. His big hand slowly began to explore.

โ€œWho makes you feel more, him or me? Hmm?โ€

Summer couldnโ€™t answer. The manโ€™s touch sent chills through her body. Summer felt like a boat floating in the ocean, relentlessly beaten against the shore by the waves. Tonight, Fraser was like a man possessed. Ignoring her struggles, he took her fiercely. Their first round ended at the door, then the sofa, and finally the bed. In the latter part of the night, Summer was too exhausted to move. Her eyelids were heavy, and as she drifted into unconsciousness, she could still feel the man relentlessly enjoying her.

The next morning, sunlight streamed through the blue curtains, filling the air with a golden warmth and a lingering sense of intimacy. Summer blinked in the bright light, feeling as if her entire body had been taken apart and put back together again. As she shifted slightly, she felt the manโ€™s long, muscular arm draped over her soft waist. She couldnโ€™t move. She turned her head to see the manโ€™s strikingly handsome face beside her.

In an instant, memories of last night flooded her mind like scenes from a movie. Fraser and I had crossed the line again. The first time was because of the drug; the second time was because of the repayment. This third time, I had been fully conscious. I hadnโ€™t resisted strongly. Summer realized that she didnโ€™t dislike Fraser. On the contrary, his well-built physique and his skills in bed had somewhat captivated and enchanted her. She turned her head and stared directly at the man in front of her. His hair was slightly disheveled, his features flawless. His eyes were closed, his long lashes dark, and his thin lips slightly red. At this moment, he looked like a fluffy lion; his usual intimidating aura softened.

Summerโ€™s gaze drifted down and landed on his cold, pale collarbone. The red marks scattered across it were her handiwork from last night. At this thought, Summer felt her cheeks flush. Although Fraserโ€™s eyes were closed, he felt a probing gaze on him. Summer was watching him. A slight smile curled his lips.

Suddenly, he turned around and pinned Summer beneath him, his arms braced on either side of her. His dark eyes bored into hers.

โ€œAh! Huhโ€ฆ Why did you wake up so suddenly without saying anything?โ€

Fraser raised an eyebrow. โ€œAdmiring my good looks so early in the morning? Am I that captivating?โ€ His eyes shimmered with a dark intensity, his figure backlit by the golden sunlight. Summer, caught in the act of staring, blushed even more.

โ€œI just thought someone broke into my house.โ€

A warm smile spread across Fraserโ€™s eyes. He had been angry last night, but the womanโ€™s gentleness had soothed him throughout the night, and his anger had vanished. He stared at her intently, their bodies pressed close together, feeling each otherโ€™s warmth. The lingering atmosphere of intimacy continued to simmer in the morning air.

Summer squirmed uncomfortably; her face flushed. โ€œI need to get dressed. Youโ€ฆ get off me.โ€ With that, Summer tried to get up. Just as she was about to push the man away and grab a towel to cover herself, he pulled her back again.

โ€œYou still havenโ€™t answered my question. Who makes you feel more, him or me?โ€

Why did he bring this up again? Summer didnโ€™t want to be misunderstood as someone who went back on her word. She explained seriously, โ€œLast night, Trevor was waiting at my door. I didnโ€™t pay any attention to him. Iโ€™ve completely broken up with him.โ€

A flicker of joy stirred in Fraserโ€™s heart. But his expression remained unreadable. His fingers brushed against her lips, his tone teasing. โ€œWhy didnโ€™t you avoid him?โ€

โ€œI told you, I didnโ€™t know. I even slapped him. Hmmโ€ฆ I didnโ€™t slap you.โ€

In the end, Summerโ€™s voice was as soft as a mosquitoโ€™s. โ€œSo in your heart, Iโ€™m better than him?โ€

This Mr. Graham. Why was he so competitive? Summer made a vague sound of agreement. A hint of tenderness flickered in Fraserโ€™s eyes as he leaned down and kissed Summerโ€™s forehead.
