Chapter 370: An Unexpected Photo
Summer was unharmed. She watched the car that had just sped past quickly disappear. It seemed like a simple overtaking maneuver.
โGabriel, donโt worry, I wonโt tell Fraser,โ she said.
Hearing Summerโs assurance, Gabriel was grateful and almost bowed.
โThank you, Madam, thank you! You are truly a great person,โ he said.
Gabriel restarted the car, driving more cautiously this time. Summer exited the phone interface. For some reason, she felt uneasy.
At that moment, Summerโs phone dinged. A photo popped up on the screen. Thinking it was company informationโsheโd fallen behind on work since her illnessโshe swiped it open.
A malicious photo unfolded before her. It showed a cozy scene of a man and woman. The man was someone she knew well: Fraser, lounging on a sofa in the living room of the back house on the Graham estate. His legs were casually stretched out, his head supported by one hand, covering his eyes. Mia was half-squatting beside the sofa, her hand seemingly gently resting on his arm. Her eyes, however, greedily regarded him. It was clearly an old photo, several years past.
Then, the phone received a message: โIf you want to know what happened in the photo, come alone to the warehouse in Floastia.โ
Summer thought to herself, At this sensitive time of the Graham Group's financial conference, this person deliberately sent me this photo to lure me away. She knew the sender must have a purpose, but her chest still felt nauseous. Her hand loosened, and the phone dropped under the car.
The driver heard the sound and quickly turned his head. โWhatโs wrong, Madam?โ he asked.
Summer pursed her lips tightly and clenched her hands. After a moment, she said, โGabriel, letโs not go to the company first.โ
The Graham Group, a huge business empire, hosted its annual financial group conference that day. The conference room at group headquarters was incredibly spacious, accommodating nearly a hundred people. One wall was a massive projection screen, seamlessly created by three large display screens.
All shareholders of the Graham Group and highly respected elders attended the conference. Most were over 40, some even 70 years old. Nearly ten recorders sat ready on one side of the room, prepared to record every detail of the meeting. The atmosphere was unusually serious.

Chapter 370: An Unexpected Photo
Fraser, in a sharp black suit, sat expressionless in the main seat of the first row, looking down at documents on the table. August glanced at Fraser, then exchanged meaningful glances with several shareholders and nodded.
On stage, the vice president spoke, elaborating on the Graham Groupโs financial situation for the year and presenting the economic budget and key investment project plans for the next year. The shareholders and elders below nodded frequently at the presentation of this yearโs profit assets.
Then, shareholder Percy, seated in the second seat of the third row, raised his hand, stood, and looked at the data on the display screen.
โRegarding the 15% decline in overseas profits this year compared to previous years, please explain the reason,โ he said.
As soon as he spoke, everyone noticed the -15%.
The vice president said, โThe overseas market has inevitable political and economic influences. Regarding the 15% decline, Mr. Graham has taken corresponding measures and will restore normal profits in the new year. Everyone need not worry.โ
Percy pursed his lips. His dark and gloomy gaze slid over August. โBut the information I have is not like that.โ
โThe reason why overseas profits declined so much is because when Mr. Graham canceled the engagement with the Lastesh Group, he unconditionally transferred the Galaxo Group to them. You know, Galaxo Groupโs assets reach hundreds of billions every year. This affected the Graham Groupโs overseas branches, leading to a 15% decline in profits.โ
The shareholders and elders listened; though silent, their faces visibly darkened.
The vice president on stage heard this and swallowed. He thought, This involves Mr. Grahamโs private affairs. Itโs wrong to say it, but itโs also wrong not to.
Then, the vice president raised his eyes and secretly looked at Fraser in the main seat, sending a signal for help.
Fraser slowly closed the document in his hand. He lazily lifted his eyelids and glanced at Percy.
โDidnโt you receive the Graham Groupโs dividends this year?โ he asked.
