Chapter 155: Going Home
Because of their close proximity, Summer could clearly see the thickness of his eyelashes. His eyes were narrow and sharp like a blade, with slightly upturned corners. She could slightly see herself in their reflection.
โYouโฆ why are you trying to comfort me?โ
โIโm afraid that if I donโt, a certain petty little pig will secretly hold a grudge, ignore my calls, and disappear as a form of protest,โ Fraser teased, making it hard to tell whether he was genuinely troubled or just being smooth. After all, every time she argued with him, she always lost.
When Fraser had a bad temper, he could drive people crazy. But when he was affectionate, he could make someone lose all their defenses without even realizing it.
Summer felt uncomfortableโnot an unbearable pain, but a suffocating ache that made her feel restless. Sometimes she felt like crying. Sometimes she felt wronged and bitter. The emotions swirled inside her, too overwhelming to process, leaving her powerless to change anything.
Her lips pressed together stubbornly. After a brief pause, she lifted her head and said, โCan you stop playing with me after youโve already flirted with someone else?โ
โSomeone else?โ Fraserโs eyes slightly narrowed. He actually gave it some serious thought. In the past few days, aside from her, the only person who had been close to him wasโฆ a man.
A guy? Fine, tomorrow Iโll have your childhood sweetheart.
โSo Summer Piglet has such a strong sense of possession over me, huh? Even jealous over a guy taking unpaid leave. Since he made you upset, he can suffer for it.โ
What nonsense! Summer was speechless. In frustration, she blurted out, โIโm talking about you!โ
Fraserโs eyes flickered slightly. โYou mean yourself?โ
โFraser!โ Her pleasant voice carried a trace of irritation. Her eyes, bright like stars on a summer night, made her delicate features even more vivid.
Fraser gazed at her deeply, a glimmer of desire flashing through his eyes. His voice turned husky and seductive. โMy ears arenโt deaf. But instead of you yelling at me now, Iโd much rather hear you calling out in bed.โ
Summer was speechless as she looked at the handsome man in front of her. She spoke seriously. โI know our beginning was different, but when youโre with me, I donโt want there to be anyone else.โ
With that, she pushed him away and walked toward the bedroom in small steps.
Fraser frowned, feeling like he had missed some detail. Watching her slightly lonely figure, he took a long stride forward, using his height and presence to block her from leaving. In the next second, he reached out and lifted her directly onto the dining table.
Fraser placed both hands on either side of her, his eyes locking onto hers. โSummer, did someone come looking for you?โ
Summer bit her lip. โShe said she grew up with you and has a very close relationship with you.โ
Fraserโs childhood sweetheart? The only one he ever recognized was Summer. Even if she had forgotten. Even if she no longer rememberedโฆ she didnโt remember bringing Pudding to him and asking if she could keep it. She didnโt remember sneaking into the hospital every day to visit him. Even though it was only for a month, it became one of the most memorable times of his life. But it was clear that Summer was referring to someone else.
A womanโs image flashed through Fraserโs mind, and his gaze darkened. So, someone has overstepped their bounds and reachedโฆ

Chapter 155: Going Home
The next day, at the Graham estate. A servant called out, โMadam Graham, Mr. Graham is back!โ
Sitting in the living room, sipping tea, Helenโs eyes immediately lit up. She set down her cup. Across from her, Miaโs heartbeat quickened uncontrollably. She turned around to look.
Fraser walked in, dressed in a white shirt and gray dress pants, with his suit jacket draped over his arm. His pace was leisurely and chill.
The servant helped Helen up to greet him. โBrat, you didnโt even tell me you were coming back.โ As she spoke, she carefully looked him up and down. โYouโve lost weight. Have you been too busy with work lately?โ
Fraser handed his suit jacket to the servant beside him, replying nonchalantly, โGot too angry by someone and lost weight.โ
Helen immediately frowned. Who would dare upset my precious grandson? Then again, given Fraserโs arrogant nature, no one in Havenbrook had the ability to provoke him.
โStop talking nonsense.โ
Fraser sat down in the single-seater sofa, long legs crossed in a relaxed posture. He lifted his gaze lazily, his indifferent eyes sweeping over the woman sitting nearby before letting out a cold scoff. โLooks like you have been keeping yourself well entertained lately.โ
