Chapter 91
At Tasmond International Airport, a tall woman in a red dress stood near the arrival gate, gripping her phone tightly. Her light brown curls framed her striking features, and her vibrant, bold outfit made her stand out in the crowd. Plenty of passing travelers stole second glances, their gazes filled with interest. However, she remained focused on her phone, as if waiting for a message that hadn't arrived. A pair of oversized sunglasses hid the impatience and faint unease lurking beneath.
Next to her, a well-dressed middle-aged woman studied her expression before asking, “Julian hasn’t responded yet?”
“No,” Roseanne’s voice was low. She kept her face composed, but a clear trace of dissatisfaction, along with a hint of anxiety she wouldn't acknowledge, was evident beneath her calm exterior.
The woman beside her hesitated before suggesting, “Julian is always busy. Maybe he just hasn’t seen your message yet. Why don’t you try calling?”
