Chapter 701: Getting a Stack of Black Market Tickets
Hayleyโs POV:
โHayz,โ Benjamin called out, interrupting me, โdonโt mess around. The black market isnโt just an ordinary market, you know. Itโs always dangerous there. Donโt even think about taking him, and you better not go yourself.โ
Henry was disappointed when he heard that.
โItโs okay,โ I reassured Benjamin. โActually, I also want to visit an old friend. Itโs just a casual trip, not as serious as you make it out to be.โ
โYou forgot that Iโve dealt with many things on my own. Iโm not as weak as you think.โ
โBesides, I have the protection of both the Betas of the Shadow Pack and the Sanders. I feel very safe.โ
Benjamin sighed helplessly. Then, he stared at me with a serious expression and admonished, โYou can go, but weโll have to agree on three things. You must always be within my line of sight, be no more than three feet from me. Also, you have to listen to me all the time.โ
โIโll listen to you,โ I nodded, assuring him. After all, he was also a smart, wise, and powerful Alpha like me. Listening to him wouldnโt be a wrong decision.
Benjamin nodded, turned his gaze to the excited Henry, and told him, โDonโt get too excited. Iโm going to make a call now. If we can only get one ticket, you still have to stay at home obediently.โ
I patted Henryโs shoulders sympathetically, then turned around to send a message to Thomas to ask him to send me five or six tickets to the black market.
Benjamin saw the message and asked, โHayley, are you able to get the tickets to the black market?โ
I glanced at him and put away my phone, saying, โYeah.โ
After that, I lay down on the nearby rocking chair to enjoy the sunlight.
After some time, Benjamin returned with his phone and said indifferently, โIโve got my hands on two tickets.โ
โYes!โ Henry pumped his fists victoriously. He was pleasantly surprised as he shouted, โSo, can I go with you guys?โ
โNo,โ Benjamin said coldly.
Hera had already gotten the scent of my subordinate. I knew it was Wind, the top Beta sent by Thomas to deliver the black market tickets to me. Windโs speed was unmatched. I closed my eyes, and sure enough, the next second, a familiar voice sounded in my ears.
โMs. Carson, these are the tickets for the black market tonight. There are ten of them. If you need more, just tell the administrator your name. Anyone who goes with you will be granted entry.โ He handed me the tickets respectfully.
The moment he finished speaking, Henry rushed to my side, his eyes fixed on the stack of tickets in the transparent box. He was trembling with excitement.
โThank you,โ I said as I took the tickets.
โItโs my honor to serve you. Then, I will take my leave now,โ Wind said while transforming into a wolf. He disappeared out of the house in the blink of an eye.
As soon as he left, Henry hugged me and jumped up with joy. He exclaimed, โOh my god, Hayley, youโre amazing! The black market tickets are so hard to get, yet youโre able to get a stack of them casually!โ
Benjamin stood beside me, looking displeased. He stared at Henry and coughed a few times while covering his mouth. Henry was totally oblivious to the fact that he was holding me. He even shook my body a few times. Benjaminโs face darkened even more, which prompted him to walk toward us, forcefully prying his hands apart.
