Chapter 701: Getting a Stack of Black Market Tickets

Hayleyโ€™s POV:

โ€œHayz,โ€ Benjamin called out, interrupting me, โ€œdonโ€™t mess around. The black market isnโ€™t just an ordinary market, you know. Itโ€™s always dangerous there. Donโ€™t even think about taking him, and you better not go yourself.โ€

Henry was disappointed when he heard that.

โ€œItโ€™s okay,โ€ I reassured Benjamin. โ€œActually, I also want to visit an old friend. Itโ€™s just a casual trip, not as serious as you make it out to be.โ€

โ€œYou forgot that Iโ€™ve dealt with many things on my own. Iโ€™m not as weak as you think.โ€

โ€œBesides, I have the protection of both the Betas of the Shadow Pack and the Sanders. I feel very safe.โ€

Benjamin sighed helplessly. Then, he stared at me with a serious expression and admonished, โ€œYou can go, but weโ€™ll have to agree on three things. You must always be within my line of sight, be no more than three feet from me. Also, you have to listen to me all the time.โ€

โ€œIโ€™ll listen to you,โ€ I nodded, assuring him. After all, he was also a smart, wise, and powerful Alpha like me. Listening to him wouldnโ€™t be a wrong decision.

Benjamin nodded, turned his gaze to the excited Henry, and told him, โ€œDonโ€™t get too excited. Iโ€™m going to make a call now. If we can only get one ticket, you still have to stay at home obediently.โ€

I patted Henryโ€™s shoulders sympathetically, then turned around to send a message to Thomas to ask him to send me five or six tickets to the black market.

Benjamin saw the message and asked, โ€œHayley, are you able to get the tickets to the black market?โ€

I glanced at him and put away my phone, saying, โ€œYeah.โ€

After that, I lay down on the nearby rocking chair to enjoy the sunlight.

After some time, Benjamin returned with his phone and said indifferently, โ€œIโ€™ve got my hands on two tickets.โ€

โ€œYes!โ€ Henry pumped his fists victoriously. He was pleasantly surprised as he shouted, โ€œSo, can I go with you guys?โ€

โ€œNo,โ€ Benjamin said coldly.

Hera had already gotten the scent of my subordinate. I knew it was Wind, the top Beta sent by Thomas to deliver the black market tickets to me. Windโ€™s speed was unmatched. I closed my eyes, and sure enough, the next second, a familiar voice sounded in my ears.

โ€œMs. Carson, these are the tickets for the black market tonight. There are ten of them. If you need more, just tell the administrator your name. Anyone who goes with you will be granted entry.โ€ He handed me the tickets respectfully.

The moment he finished speaking, Henry rushed to my side, his eyes fixed on the stack of tickets in the transparent box. He was trembling with excitement.

โ€œThank you,โ€ I said as I took the tickets.

โ€œItโ€™s my honor to serve you. Then, I will take my leave now,โ€ Wind said while transforming into a wolf. He disappeared out of the house in the blink of an eye.

As soon as he left, Henry hugged me and jumped up with joy. He exclaimed, โ€œOh my god, Hayley, youโ€™re amazing! The black market tickets are so hard to get, yet youโ€™re able to get a stack of them casually!โ€

Benjamin stood beside me, looking displeased. He stared at Henry and coughed a few times while covering his mouth. Henry was totally oblivious to the fact that he was holding me. He even shook my body a few times. Benjaminโ€™s face darkened even more, which prompted him to walk toward us, forcefully prying his hands apart.
