Chapter 230: Do You Have Evidence?
The man was having a wonderful time. He immediately took charge, yanking off her pants and thrusting his member into her. Before long, their moans filled the room.
Once everything had finished, Gillian calmly stood up and got dressed. โDonโt spread this around yet. I have my own plans,โ she said.
The man, satisfied and eager to please, quickly responded, โDonโt worry. Whatever you say goes. Iโll keep an eye on him and tell you the moment I get any news.โ
Gillian nodded, clearly satisfied. โGood. Thatโs all for today. You can go now.โ
The man stood up, clearly reluctant to leave. He pulled her into a brief embrace and said, โI wish I could be with you all the time, never wanting to be apart.โ
Gillian smiled softly. โThere will be plenty of time.โ
The manโs face lit up with joy. He kissed her gently on the cheek before finally leaving.
After he was gone, Gillian looked at the stack of photos in her hands, already making up her mind. She walked out of the lounge and approached the front desk. โIs Christopher in the office today?โ
The receptionist replied, โYes, heโs here. According to the schedule, he should be in the practice room for a rehearsal.โ
Gillian thanked her and took the elevator upstairs.
Christopherโs POV:
I was in the middle of a rehearsal for an upcoming commercial when the door to the practice room suddenly opened. Gillian stood in the doorway, watching me with a curious smile.
She clapped her hands and praised, โNot bad. You really live up to your reputation as the popular singer.โ
I fought to control my irritation, giving her a cold look. โWhat are you doing here?โ
My wolf was irritated by her scent. This woman was no ordinary person. Something told me she wasnโt someone I wanted to be involved with.
Despite my cold reception, Gillian seemed unfazed. She casually walked toward me and said, โI just wanted to meet you. Our company had the idea for us to collaborate on a single. I think itโs a good idea. Would you consider giving it a try?โ
I immediately rejected the suggestion. โSorry, Iโm not interested. If thereโs nothing else, please leave. I donโt want to be disturbed during practice.โ
Instead of getting upset, Gillian simply smiled and moved closer. โI do have something to say. I never show up without a reason.โ
My patience was running thin, and I had to hold back the urge to shift into my wolf form and give her a lesson. โIf you have something to say, say it. Otherwise, leave.โ
Gillian was in no rush. She smiled even more, enjoying the moment. โI heard youโve found a mate and are in a relationship. Is that true?โ
Her words stirred up an even deeper anger within me. I didnโt know where Gillian had gotten this false rumor from, but whatever she was saying could easily harm the reputation of an innocent girl.
โReally? And do you have proof?โ I asked, my voice sharp. Gillian only smiled wider. โRelax. Although itโs just a rumor, it sounds pretty convincing. They even said you went to the hospital recently.โ
I couldnโt take it any longer. โIf you have something to say, just say it all at once. But I warn you, defamation is punishable by law.โ
Gillian paused for a moment, looking at me carefully before speaking. โMr. Southwell, thatโs a serious accusation. The only reason Iโm here today is because I have solid evidence, and thatโs why Iโm speaking to you this way.โ
She continued, โAnd while I have the evidence, I donโt plan on making it public.โ
Gillian took a step closer, lowering her voice slightly. โBut I do have a small request. I wantโฆ something from you. Perhaps we can make a deal?โ
