"I, Sanford, am publicly accusing Jonathan, president of Horizonlead Group, and his entire family of being heartless and ungrateful. Thirty years ago, Yorick abandoned his wife and child, banishing my pregnant mother to Shaville and forbidding her from ever returning to Nareigh.

Once the video went live, and with Sanford’s deliberate promotion, it instantly went viral and sparked a massive uproar. Both Teresa and Jennifer saw the video.
This was undoubtedly a bombshell that exploded within Jennifer. Clutching her forehead in agony, she muttered, “I regret ever knowing him. He’s a complete lunatic, a madman through and through.”
Teresa ignored Jennifer. Suddenly, it all made sense–Sanford… His name means longing for Yorick.
Teresa suddenly remembered that trip to Shaville with Jonathan. When they met Sanford’s mother, the white-haired woman had desperately grabbed Jonathan’s hand.
‘Could Sanford really be Jonathan’s half-brother?’ Teresa wondered, her mind reeling. She demanded Jennifer’s phone and immediately called Sanford.
“Don’t bother calling,” Jennifer cut in anxiously. “He won’t pick up. He’s determined to drag us down with him.”
Teresa didn’t know what to do; her fingers couldn’t stop trembling. She wasn’t ready to give up; she had been waiting for a promotion to department head. But Sanford had publicly accused Jonathan and Irene, and Mike’s situation would surely come to light as well.
Just then, the call connected. Teresa took a deep breath. “It’s Teresa.”
Sanford sighed on the other end. “What’s wrong? So, you’ve seen the video I posted as well?”
“Yes. I think half of Nareigh must have seen it by now. What on earth are you trying to do? Are you trying to ruin Jonathan?” Teresa asked.
“I just want to expose the injustices my mom and I have endured all these years. This is purely our family’s own matter, I won’t drag you or Jennifer into it, you have my word,” Sanford said.
Teresa didn’t believe a word he said. She accused angrily, “You used an innocent child and that rigged DNA test just to get your way, didn’t you?” There was a brief silence on the other end of the line.
Sanford’s voice turned cold. “I told you I wouldn’t drag you or Jennifer into this. I said I wouldn’t hurt either of you. If you still don’t believe me, well, whatever.” The line went dead as Sanford abruptly hung up.
Jennifer frowned, her voice trembling. “This is all my fault, I trusted the wrong person. What should we do? What on earth are we going to do?”
Teresa said expressionlessly, “We’ll just have to wait and see.”
Jennifer, who had been looking down, slowly raised her head and locked eyes with Teresa. “Wait and see?” She scoffed, her voice trembling. “Our happy days are over. Can’t you see that?”
“Don’t yell at me. You admitted you trusted the wrong person. Now face the consequences yourself.” Teresa left without looking back.
After Teresa left, Jennifer, still in a daze, suddenly snapped back to reality. She snatched up her phone and immediately texted Sanford.
[Sanford, considering all the years we’ve been classmates and friends, you know how hard I’ve worked to get where I am today. Please, I’m begging you, don’t tell Teresa’s ex-husband about the child.
